Abstract

This document reports the results of a didactic experience with a population of students from a Mexican technological high school in its Differential Calculus course. The youth tested a pair of exponential models for modeling data from the COVID19 pandemic in Mexico using GeoGebra software. The teacher-student interaction was at a distance and was based on a series of questions related to the variational aspects of the behavior of the Accumulated Contagions vs. time and New Contagions vs. time.
