Design of an economic-mathematical didactic sequence through problem-based learning for the development of professional competencies in second-semester engineering students of the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Teziutlán
Main Article Content
Abstract
Engineering education is currently governed by educational models that are geared towards an integral education, which should allow the student to develop a set of competencies that will enable him/her to face the professional reality in the immediate future. The exact sciences are a fundamental pillar in such training and it is necessary to position them in real, attractive scenarios that allow the student to understand that these sciences are included in everyday life and that they are the axis for engineering sciences. The following research work develops an economic-mathematical didactic sequence through problem-based learning and with the support of the DIPCING methodology for students recently enrolled in engineering education at the ITST that allows demonstrating the competencies achieved and to be developed within this education.
