Introduction

Abstract

This is the second volume of the journal for the year 2023, and although we had a good influx of articles, unfortunately few passed the refereeing filters, however, we believe that an author(s) learns as much from published articles as from those rejected with refereeing, at least that is our experience. Last September, we held our International Meeting on the Teaching of Calculus, where I mentioned in my inaugural speech that a sensitive change in our society is the loss of manual and mental skills. For example, to get to these University facilities my students used a GPS where at one point I thought they made a detour, but when I mentioned it to them, their response was: "it is what the GPS indicates", as if it were absolute truth.
